I will introduce our Question and Answer segment and reply to the comment left on the High Risk, High Reward post.
The question was along the lines of , what about Forsberg?
Forsberg is my all time favorite player, I am 100% bias when it comes to him. That said, I have no plans to keep him in my keeper league next season. If he plays or not is still way up in the air, not only is it up in the air, given Forsberg's past he might not decide if he will play or not until mid-season next year, or maybe just for the playoffs.
Assuming Forsberg plays and is healthy he will easly be at least a ppg player that will give you assists, powerplay points and some decent PIMs. He does not get a lot of shots on goal (SOG) but he does have the ability to score goals and has a good chance for game winning goals(GWG) as he is on the ice when the game is on the line.
That said, he is very high risk due to his injuries and the fact he is a playoff monster. If he is on your team you might not be able to could on him come playoff time in a H2H league. Even if healthy his real life team may rest him down the stretch to insure he is fresh for the playoffs.
I love Forsberg more than the next guy, but I would only take him next year in points only pools. The center position is far to deep to gamble on him winning you a championship. If you can pick him up in a later round he will be well worth the draft, but don't rest your season on his shoulders.
