Columbus Blue Jackets:

Berard, Bryan D - Not sure where he will play next season. Decent option on D in leagues that don't use +/-

Boucher, Brian G - Not a reliable option. DND

Brassard, Derick C - A great playmaker, he could be just what Nash needs to get him going. Great keeper pick.

Brule, Gilbert C - Good keeper league prospect, might be a year or two away from helping most leagues.

Campbell, Darcy D - No real value here. DND

Chimera, Jason LW - FA match up play or good for PIM/SHP leagues.

Fedorov, Sergei C - Age has caught up with the once dominate star. Still ok for a late round pick in deep leagues as filler.

Foote, Adam D - Maybe my favorite player on the blue line, he offers little value. I am sad to say, DND

Fritsche, Dan C - Has speed and decent offensive upside. Worth a look in deep pools.

Hainsey, Ron D - Enjoyed a breakout year last season and should improve this year. Could hurt you in +/- leagues.

Hejda, Jan D - UPDATE Hejda showed some good things last season and in CLS could get a chance to break out. Keep an eye on him. DND

Johnson, Aaron D - Lots of D-men around with his stats. DND

Klesla, Rostislav D - Good in PIM leagues and he throws in some points. Bad +/-

Leclaire, Pascal G - Solid starting goalie, but his coach is not thrille dwith him and he has injury issues. High risk draft pick.

Lindstrom, Joakim C/LW - Decent prospect who needs to improve on everything. 1-2 years away from making a fantasy impact.

Malhotra, Manny C - Decent match up play, not consistent enough for a draft pick. DND

Modin, Fredrik LW - He should see an increase in all stats next year. Mid round pick.

Nash, Rick LW - Pure goal scorer who has struggled. Still is a round 1 or round 2 pick easy, especially in keepers.

Norrena, Fredrik G - His coach likes him and he should see plenty of ice time next year. Decent option if in dire need of a goalie.

Novotny, Jiri C - UPDATE His work ethic is questioned, he has already been traded once and the team that got him didn't even qualify him. He could still be a dark horse if he fits into the Hitch system. Huge gamble pick, keep and eye on him if he is on your FA list in season. DND

Picard, Alex LW - A good all around prospect, he will have to work hard to make the NHL. He could put up close to first line numbers if he continues to develop. Keep an eye on him.

Shelly, Jody LW - A must in PIM leagues, especially those who use fighters.

Svitov, Alexander C - A solid option in PIM leagues, he is better for match up play. DND

Tollefsen, Ole-Kristian D - Great PIM option on D, brings nothing else to the table. Take late in deep PIM pools.

Vyborny, David RW - A solid mid round pick. He gets you all stats.

Westcott, Duvie D - Started off hot last season, then vanished after injuries. DND

Zherdev, Nikolai LW/RW - This kid is all flash no work. I have never liked him for fantasy pools, and to date I have been rewarded for staying away. Draft if he drops deep in your pool.
